Eliza Gallen is a Food and Garden Creative. She has been a food tragic since she discovered Yum Cha as a toddler but formalised her love of Gastronomy and graduated with Masters of Food/Gastronomy from the University of Adelaide in 2014.
Previously blogging for years under the nom de plume, Gastronomy Gal and spending time in the last decade writing and editing for a number of publications on the side, she's now retired from slashie corporate life (journalism/marketing/tourism & cultural/ politician wrangling and corporate communicating) to return to working with and writing about her true loves- Food, Booze and the Garden (oh and her family!).
You're mostly likely to find her in the garden cursing at snails, and picking produce to turn into Sunday lunch. She is a home cook and gardener with an extensive cookbook and cookware collection/addiction. Eliza is quite good at eating and drinking, and particularly enjoys partaking in activities that involve feasting and merriment.
